The Railway is located at the Peterson Reserve, Peterson Road, Panmure and is
open to the public every Sunday afternoon from 1.00 - 4.00pm (weather
permitting). The only exception being the long weekends over Christmas and New
Year.
Membership of
ASME and the hobby of Model Engineering can be a very rewarding pastime. Many
members of the society develop new skills and enjoy the freindships and sharred
knowedge that being a member of ASME can offer. The club also hosts "Beginners
Nights", where members can come along and get detailed advice about their
current project. Members occasionally hosting home workshop visits, where the
member's worksop is shown off, and the various tools and projects are explained.
Both of these provide a very
interesting and informative forum for discussions about model
engineering, such as tools, techniques, materials and suppliers.
